Madi has been responsible for the legal affairs of MidCity since early 2016. Her responsibilities and domain expertise include the development, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate, in addition to general corporate governance. In her capacity in this role, Madi advises on issues of risk mitigation and directly manages MidCity’s engagement of outside counsel on dynamic set of cross-functional matters relevant to the operating business of MidCity – primarily the ownership, asset management and development of multifamily rental housing. Additionally, Madi oversees MidCity’s Administration Department and facilitates operations management. Prior to serving at MidCity, Madi worked at Vantage Management as Director of Legal Affairs and at Bingham McCutchen L.P. as a Corporate Associate. Madi serves in a variety of roles supporting local community revitalization and enrichment. In particular, she serves on the Board of Directors for two family companies. Beyond her professional endeavors, Madi serves on the Board of Directors for Community Services Foundation, The Academy of Hope: Public Charter School, and Habitat for Humanity, D.C., as well as the Alumnae Board at the Holton-Arms School. Madi is a passionate participant and supporter of initiatives focused on affordable housing, economic empowerment and access to education. Madi was a Steering Committee Member for Habitat for Humanity D.C.’s 2017 Women Build campaign – the most successful campaign in the chapter’s history. Madi currently serves as the Event Chair for the Academy of Hope’s 35th Anniversary Gala and the Event co-chair for the Habitat for Humanity 30th Anniversary Gala. Madi holds a B.S. from Trinity College and a J.D. from the Washington College of Law.
